General Likes:


While the freeforms are appreciated, you don’t need to use all of them - or even most of them! The prompts are suggestions, but if you get a better idea by all means, please follow that idea!


- Fairy tale motifs, biblical (as in Tanakh and Torah) motifs, mythological motifs in general. People turned into animals, riddles, things not being what they seem, things falling into patterns that we can recognize, even if it takes a little bit of time. Princesses and monsters and giants and talking animals, having to go on a journey but coming back.


- Characters bonding over domestic things (especially cooking/baking/grocery shopping/other things to do with food), characters arguing over domestic things, characters making up with each other with domestic things. People doing each other’s laundry as a sign of affection, people making food for each other as a sign of affection, or to show their annoyance, but they love them anyway.


- Transformation, especially wings/extra arms. Preferably with some horror, but not too much of the “snapping of bones” variety. “My body isn’t mine anymore/my body has changed” but not the visceral gooey bits of it, more the existential threat.


- Themes of things repeating, traditions, “we’ve done this before, but let’s try it again anyway, to see what works.”


- Casual genderfuckery - guys in skirts and girls in suits, and nobody cares, apart from possibly finding that particular person hot. No deep rumination on gender, just comfort in playing with it.


- People saying the wrong thing, then trying to fix it, and all parties not being perfect, but more or less muddling through. Characters reconciling after a long time apart.


- Little moments captured at certain times of day - late night cups of tea at the dinner table, watching the sunset while walking down the street, the quiet moment in a kitchen while a party is going on outside.


- Skin hungry characters finally being “fed” with platonic, romantic, or sexual touch.


- Long, meandering, organic conversations that go on tangents.


Food. I love cooking, I love lavish meal descriptions, characters planning foods, having favorite foods, making food for each other as a sign of affection or as a sign of annoyance (“I told you that if you didn’t stop whistling I’d make that casserole you hated, and here we are!”), food for romance, for apologies. People remembering their loved one’s favorites, or misremembering them. People cooking together - I will happily read lavish descriptions of yeast bubbling and tomatoes being chopped and all the other minutiae associated with cooking and food and the way people show they care with it!


Baking bread. More than anything else, I love making bread - I’d love to see characters learning how to do it, making mistakes, getting better, getting worse. Yeast blooming (or not blooming, as the case may be), the warm water. Something about things getting bigger, something about things resting, about the way you have to slow down when you make bread. The sensation of dough between your fingers, the stickiness against your fingers, the crunch of crust in your back teeth… I just. I like bread.




- Characters who are bad at being emotionally sincere trying very hard to do so.


- People at the beach - warm sand, the sun beating down, the quiet when it gets late, ice cream and sandwiches while sitting under a beach umbrella.


- Inclement weather. Snow, rain, thunderstorms. Characters getting caught up in it, characters taking shelter from it, characters getting ready to go out in it. I love the way the weather can set the scene.


- Isolation, real or imagined. The way an apartment late at night can feel like an island of light in the middle of a vast ocean, or being on an actual small boat on a vast ocean. Isolated cabins in the mountains, beach houses late at night, empty streets at the very end of the day. That sweet desolation you feel, looking over an empty space and it’s just you and the one you love.


- Places with personality. Old houses with a lot of rooms, towns that have history, forests that love you and also kind of want to eat you, the ocean that will tell you its secrets as it swallows you up.


- Pining that’s trying to be subtle but isn’t. People in denial about their own feelings, then giving in to them in private. People being embarrassed and happy and sad and complicated at being in love, platonically or romantically or in ways that even they aren’t sure about.


- Daemon AUs. Please give me all the people with their souls on the outside of their bodies as animals. People with daemons that make total sense, people with daemons that make everyone double take, daemons that are small enough to hide in someone’s sleeve, daemons that are big enough to lean on. Furry daemons that you can run your fingers through, daemons with fur that whispers against the skin. The intensity of someone else touching your daemon, or the intimacy of touching someone else’s.


- Non-monogamy. People loving each other deeply and hard in different ways. People understanding that you can’t be everything to one person, or people learning to understand it. People doing their relationships in the “wrong” order, but finding happiness. People not realizing they’re in love with multiple people and sorting it out, or finding the delight in it. Even if the focus is on two particular characters, background mentions of other lovers, knowing that there's always more behind the scenes.


Holidays & traditions, human ones or otherwise. Chocolates in heart shaped boxes on Valentines Day, latkes on Hannukah, people sharing the things that make them happy, and creating new ones. Blending traditions together, or clashing over how to make them work, but making them work.


Second person, if you feel comfortable writing in it!


Smut Likes


- Face touching/holding, hand touching/holding. Sucking on fingers, shoving fingers into mouths, palms against cheeks, tracing someone’s profile with the tip of a finger, thumbs pressed into dimples.


- Focus on mouths - cunnilingus, sucking dick, sucking on toes, leaving hickeys. Biting, especially in unexpected places (faces, calves). Long, deep kisses, the kind of making out that leaves the head spinning.


- Awkward, first time sex, whether for the first time ever or the first time with another person or with this particular person. Two people who aren’t necessarily good at it, but enthusiastic. Fumbling first time masturbation, first kisses that start out spitty and end up toe curlingly good.

- Clothes sharing, clothing fetishes. Characters kinking on wearing someone's clothing, smelling it, fantasizing about getting caught jerking off in it.


- People being horny. Squirming in seats, pressing thighs together. Wet spots and hard nipples, biting lips and fidgeting. People noticing other people's bodies in horny ways - seeing the curve of a breast under a shirt and imagining grabbing it, daydreaming about what someone's fingers would feel like inside them as they watch someone write, or grinding against someone's thigh as you watch them cross their legs. Especially if the horny person is embarrassed by it, or the object of their affection notices and teases them.


- For ageplay (especially ABDL), I love Littles who are embarrassed. Babies who have accidents (or “accidents”) who get scolded for it and cleaned up. Babies getting diapered and put in comfy clothes, being tickled and kissed and fussed over. Babies who aren’t allowed to come, who can play with Mommy’s breasts or nurse or get bounced on knees, in diapers so thick they can’t close their legs and can’t get enough stimulation to come, but want to try anyway. - Groping and grabbing, women covertly feeling other women up. Hands that brush against a breast, across someone’s ass, first accidentally, than a bit more deliberately. The grope-ee staying quiet, letting themselves be touched. Maybe they’re actively encouraging it, wearing shorter skirts or lower cut shirts. Women taking pleasure in other women’s bodies, by jiggling breasts or pinching asses, making her come in her pants.


- Cannibalism and gore. Trusting someone to put their hands in your guts, loving someone that you want to have them inside you forever. The longing to consume or be consumed, to share your deepest, ugliest parts.


- PIning. Teenage girls who have crushes on their teachers or mentors, idolizing them, blushing and stuttering and trying to impress them.


- Anal. I just really, really love anal. A lot.

I came out of Dragonfire shipping these two like *burning*. I love how they bounce off each other so well - Mel the slightly bossy control freak, Ace the anarchic teen hooligan. I'd love to see the two of them together trying to figure out how to make it work - maybe teaming up to deal with an alien threat of some kind, or maybe trying to work around the weirdness of their own lives. I'd love some sort of "stuck in the past" scenario, or maybe in the other direction & they're stuck in the future? I'd also adore something where Mel's computer skills come into play. I'm not super picky, though - I'm sure I'll be happy with whatever you might do with these two!

Fifth Doctor/Tegan Jovanka

These two are the ultimate slap-slap-kiss, & it's one of the things that makes them so fun to me. They're both always pulling on each other's pigtails, stepping on each other's toes. I'd love to see them having to cooperate with each other - maybe a diplomatic situation, or some kind of minor emergency where Tegan's air hostess skills come in handy? I'd also love to see a situation where their roles might be a bit more reversed - Tegan saving the day in some way, possibly? Or even a situation they think is sinister but turns out to be benign? Basically these two just arguing & having adventures through the universe!

Ace McShane

I adore Ace - what's not to love about a teenage hooligan with mommy issues? I'd be good with almost anything you'd feel like offering - an adventure in time & space, a character study, a domestic scene… any of it would be good, honestly! Maybe something before her time with the Doctor, or something that happened to her solo while they were adventuring? With Ace there are so many possibilities, & I'm thrilled to find out whatever you want to do with her!

Nyssa of Traken

Nyssa is another fave. She's so sad & also working so hard to be… okay. She breaks my heart in all the best ways possible. I would love a fic where she let's loose in some way - maybe she actually grieves a little bit, or loses her temper, or does something silly. I'd also be open to something that took place while she was on Traken - we didn't get to see much of it, & I'd love go see more of it! There are a whole bunch of possibilities with Nyssa, and I'd love to see where you can go with them!

Melanie Bush

Mel is such a neat character. She's somewhere under served in canon, although we do get more in the audios. I'd love to see stories of her days in university, or afterwards - maybe something about her meeting the Doctor! I don't really have anything more specific as an idea, but I'm pretty sure I'll be happy with most things involving my favorite computer programmer from Pease Pottage!

Did not expect to walk out of Power of the Doctor loving this ship as hard as I did, and yet. I love them for shallow reasons (older woman/younger woman ships are my kryptonite), & I love them as a response to 13/Yaz. I'd love a fic exploring Ace helping Yaz settle back into the world, or maybe Ace showing Yaz that life on earth can be an adventure too. Maybe something about Yaz seeing her future self in Ace, and Ace seeinf her past? Or maybe the two of them getting off earth? Something with Ace meeting Najia would be amazing (I'd love a joke about Yaz & her Thing for older women), or maybe Yaz integrating into the companion support group? These two are one of my absolute favorite NuWho ships, and I'd be happy with just about anything!

Thirteenth Doctor/Ace McShane

This is another ship that feels like a continuation - continuing from back in the day, or maybe continuing on to the future. I love the idea of the Doctor being a little scared of Ace - here's proof of time passing, proof of things changing. I'd also love seeing something from Ace's POV- how the Doctor has & hasn't changed, the weirdness of someone who she always considered older than her now looking younger. I'd love to see where you can go with it!

Ace McShane

Ace! I love her so. What's she been up to? This universe doesn't seem to follow At Childhood's End, since she's still going by Ace, but if you can find a way to make it work I'd love to see it! I don't have any specific ideas for her, but I'm sure you'll be great with whatever you do!

Yasmin Khan

I would love to see an exploration of Yaz, literally anywhere along her timeline. Maybe her pre-Doctor self, finally pulling herself out of the pit of despair after that long road. Or maybe during the three years she was stuck in the past? Or how about her & the Doctor, & their solo travels? Her post-Doctor years? I love how we get to see Yaz grow as a person, & I love seeing her getting to become like the Doctor. I'd love literally anything with her, & I can't wait to see where you go from here!

Thirteenth Doctor

Oh, I love Thirteen. She's my favorite modern Doctor, and I'd adore just about anything with her! Maybe a character study about how she feels with the new information about her background? Or maybe a little mini-adventure, sans fam? Maybe something about her visiting a former companion, or even her just watching them from a distance Ala the way she watched Graham & Ryan in Woman Who Fell To Earth. She's such a complicated, squirrely little weirdo, & I'd love to see what you can do with her!

Sixth Doctor/Charley Pollard

These two are such a messy ship, which I think is a big part of the appeal for me. He knows she's hiding something & won't admit it. She loves him, but loved 8 more & misses 8, but is also becoming fond of him. I'd love to see something where the two of them are having some flavor of adventure - something on the more low stakes end of things, maybe? I'd also love to see some more of Charley's horrible lying. Maybe they have some quiet, or a moment where Charley is realizing that she cares for Six just as much as she cares for Eight? I'd love to see where you can take these two!

Melanie Bush/Hebe Harrison

I absolutely adore their dynamic and could eat it up with a spoon. The kindness! The pigtails pulling! The peril! I would love absolutely anything with them, honestly. The way they pull each other's pigtails but also clearly care about each other is so good. I'd also love something about the way the two of them are both so temporally… complicated - Mel with her who knows how many time lines, Hebe who has at least three now. I don't have any other specific ideas for them, but please know that if you decide to write anything with these two, I will be overjoyed.

Valarie Lockwood

Valarie was a surprise favorite, although in retrospect I don't know why I'm surprised. What's not to like about a sparky cyborg engineer from the future? I'd love to see something where she's facing something from the past - her culture shock in the various past eras has always been a favorite of mine, & I'd love to see that explored more. Anything exploring her grief would also be interesting would also be neat - so much of her story is woven through with it. Anything about the last story from the most recent box set (I don't want to spoil the specifics but… woof) would also be neat - something about her feelings about… all of it. She's such a neat character, and I'd love to see more of her story explored!

Hebe Harrison

Oh Hebe, my beloved. Who doesn't love a snarky marine biologist, I ask you? I'd really love an exploration of her character - how does she feel about traveling through time as a disabled person? Maybe something about the aftermath of all the Purity whatnot? Heck, something about her adventures before she met the Doctor (how did she end up on an oil rig?) would be great! I love Hebe so much - I'd honestly be thrilled with just about anything with her!

Una Chin-Riley/La'an Noonien-Singh

Oh I love these two together so much! Their devotion to each other and the tension between them at the same time - how does Una process La'an's anti-genetic engineering sentiments with her own Illyrian upbringing? How does La'an deal with the fact that someone she's so close to has lied to her for so long? I can't get enough of the two of them - i loved that bit in Spock Amock where they bond over being viewed as "where fun goes to die," & the way they trust each other so much. Literally anything you do with these two would be amazing, & I can't wait to see it.

Una Chin-Riley/Erica Ortegas

We don't see them interact much one on one, but what we do see, I found very intriguing. I really loved seeing Una reminding Ortegas that she was a pilot - maybe the two of them bonding over their pasts? We don't know a lot about what Una did during the war (unless I'm missing something, which may well be the case, I'm new at this fandom), but I'd love to see them relating to each other for all the… whatnot they've seen. Or, heck, just Ortegas being intimidated by the scary boss lady & finding it hot - I'm not picky!

La'an Noonien-Singh/Christine Chapel

Right from the start these two were made to pull each other's pigtails - "and you boss a rocket ship" indeed! I love the way that Chapel's general disinterest in authority runs headlong into La'an's… well, whatever the opposite of that is. I love the fact that we see them getting on later - La'an helping her study for her fellowship interview! And I'd love to see where it can go, even if it's just them needling each other while stuck in a shuttle or whatever else you can think of!

Una Chin-Riley

Una is such a delight. She's such a complex character, but so simple at the same time? She believes in Star Fleet & in her friends, duty is the most important thing to her. And yet she's also been hiding so much for so long! She's so gorgeous (I love the little touches of personality we can see, like the nail polish), & I'd also love something about her experience as an Illyrian in Star Fleet - maybe her childhood beforehand? I am honestly gonna be happy regardless of what I get, I love Una so much!

La'an Noonien-Singh

La'an is such a giant ball of trauma & neurosis, & I want to (lovingly) poke her with a stick. I would love just about any kind of fic with her - exploring her reactions to her childhood (ye gods did it suck), or maybe how she's figuring herself out how as an adult? I'm not super interested in the business with her and Kirk in the alternative timeline, but if you've got an idea that's really captivated you I'd be cool with seeing it! Overall, I'm just excited to see what you might do with her!
